Lawrence P. Gooley is an award-winning author of many books related to Adirondack and North Country history and true crime. In addition, he writes articles for Adirondack Almanack and New York History.
Lawrence is also available to appear at book signings, book fairs, and fundraisers. He is also available to give presentations based on Terror in the Adirondacks and his many other books.
For his book, Oliver’s War: An Adirondack Rebel Battles the Rockefeller Fortune (2007), Lawrence won the Adirondack Literary Award for Best Book of Nonfiction. He continues to research and write new books and articles, as well as help other regional authors publish their books through his publishing company, Bloated Toe Publishing. He appears at various events each year, both by himself and with the North Country Authors.
